A Trilogy of Contemporary Narratives From Kerala - II
Fort Kochi , 2025-08-17A Trilogy of Contemporary Narratives from Kerala (Part 2)
The second part of A Trilogy of Contemporary Narratives from Kerala continues to trace the shifting terrain of artistic expression emerging from the state. Each artist in this chapter brings forth a deeply personal yet collective resonance narratives that oscillate between memory and material, intimacy and identity, the local and the universal.
The practices of Asha Nandan, Deepthi P Vasu, Nidha Surabhi, Ganesh Babu, Shibu Chand, Anil KN, and P G Sreenivasan open multiple entry points into Kerala’s cultural psyche. Their works do not seek to present a singular story but instead weave fragments of lived experience, of landscape, of human presence into a dialogue that is both poetic and political.
In curating this trilogy, the intention has been to allow each voice its own rhythm while creating an interwoven fabric of contemporary thought. What emerges is not just an exhibition of works, but a constellation of sensibilities that reflect Kerala’s ever expanding visual and conceptual horizons.
