Shibu Chand (b. 1977, Trivandrum) is a contemporary artist known for his evocative acrylics that blend memory, culture, and social commentary. A BFA graduate from Kalady and MFA from MG University, he currently teaches at Sainik School Kazhakuttam. His works, often rooted in Kerala’s traditions, explore themes of identity, solitude, and ecological loss. Shibu has held several solo exhibitions and won international recognition, including awards in Italy and China, establishing himself as one of Kerala’s noted contemporary voices.
